Experienced Medical Receptionist (20 Hours)

We have an exciting opportunity for a experienced Medical Receptionist (20 hours), to join our fast paced Practice requiring Weekday and Saturday shifts.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent customer service
  • Medical Reception experience is essential
  • Best Practice experience is preferred
  • Computer literacy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and procedures
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality
  • Must be a team player
  • An empathetic, positive and can do attitude

    Main Responsibilities:
  • Greeting and assisting patients
  • Answering phones
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Patient billing and receipting
  • Supporting medical staff
  • Liaising with other health professionals and hospitals
  • Opening / Closing of practice
  • Managing daily incoming and outgoing mail, email & faxes
  • Ensure reception, waiting areas and premises generally are clean and tidy
  • General administration as required

Roster:

  • Overall we have available approx. 20 hours per including Weekday and Saturday Shifts
  • Additional hours available for holiday and leave cover
