Hunter Region Administration - Support Full Time Employment Applications close 28/02/2022

We are looking for a bright, bubbly personality person to join our team. The position is 4 days per week plus rotating Saturday roster. This may lead into full-time position.

We are currently looking for a medical receptionist on a Fulltime basis at our Medical Practice located inside of Jesmond Central Shopping Centre.

The position description includes however is not limited to:

  • Answering phones, booking appointments, greeting patients.
  • Managing of private billings, medicare and DVA claims and processing workers compensation billings.
  • General housekeeping and other miscellaneous admin tasks.

Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

  • Have previous experience working within a general practice setting.
  • Previous experience with Best Practice software or similar.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience working within a team environment
  • Fully vaccinated (COVID-19)
