Narrabri West Lake
Volunteers worked tirelessly to convert the swamp land of Narrabri West Lake into a vibrant recreational haven, catering to swimmers, canoeists, picnickers, and windsurfers alike. For those seeking an active experience, there's a fantastic 3km walking and cycling track encircling the entire lake, which allows visitors to soak in the areas natural beauty. For bird watchers, the islands at the southern end of the Lake are a haven for local and migrating birds, including the majestic black swan. Picnic tables, BBQ facilities and outdoor gym nearby.
