COVID-19 Vulnerable Populations Vaccination Immunisation Scholarships 2023 - EOI
Last updated November 14, 2023
To support the Governments COVID-19 response, innovative, local, short-term COVID-19 vaccination activities and strategies are being implemented. These targeted, short-term activities aim to increase access to the COVID-19 vaccination among a number of vulnerable populations who cannot access or have difficulty accessing the vaccine through existing mechanisms.
Increasing the number of immunisation trained nurses that can utilise their expertise with vulnerable populations is one such strategy.
The Australian College of Nursing has been funded by the PHN to provide fifty-five (55) education scholarships for eligible nurses located within the Hunter New England and Central Coast Primary Health Network (the PHN) region to complete the Immunisation for Health Practitioners Course (347).
