Life Medical Centre is Australia’s first purpose-built hybrid General Practice and Lifestyle Medicine Clinic, delivering high quality, evidence-based healthcare to patients through our Bio-Psycho-Social model of care.

In addition to comprehensive General Practice services, the Lifestyle Medicine component of our practice has a large commitment to prevention, effective management and reversal of Chronic conditions such as Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, Metabolic Syndrome, Hypercholesterolaemia, general mental health conditions, CVD risks, etc.

We believe that Lifestyle Medicine is “medicine” for many conditions presenting in a modern medical practice and can do no harm. We aim to deliver a “whole-person-centred” approach that not only provides quality patient experiences, better clinical outcomes and reduced health budget expenditure, but also serves to ensure fulfillment for the practitioner who wishes to address the causes of chronic disease and empower patients in self-efficacy.

Our current team consists of 4 GP’s, 3 are Internationally certified Lifestyle Medicine GP’s, as well as our on-site interdisciplinary team of Clinical Pharmacist, Accredited Dietitian, Certified Life Coach, Chronic Disease Nurses and Clinical Nurses. We have a strong, owner-invested administrative support team and dedicated program co-ordinator for our Shared Medical Appointments, Case-conferences, cooking classes, walking groups and other education sessions.

Life Medical Centre is also a full-service General Practice and maintains a complete offering to the community for comprehensive care in way of general check-up, children’s health, women’s health, men’s health, minor procedures and immunisations and vaccinations. Our practice also has DHM Pathology on-site.

We are the first dedicated General Practice to incorporate Lifestyle Medicine as a specialist service. We are located in the vibrant hub of Erina on the NSW Central Coast, just a 5-minute drive from the seaside suburb of Terrigal, and 60 minutes north of Sydney City, and 45 minutes south of Newcastle City.
