Workforce Planning – Interim Report Early Findings

In alignment with the strategic goals set forth in the PHNs 23-28 Strategic Vision, a primary objective is to stabilise and enhance the primary care workforce. As part of this effort, the HNECC PHN engaged Beacon Strategies to conduct a Workforce Planning Report. While the full report is scheduled for release in late August 2024, the interim findings have already shed light on critical issues.

New Pilot Program Launches to Support Victim-Survivors of Domestic Violence in Central Coast and Moree

The Hunter New England and Central Coast Primary Health Network (HNECC PHN) has announced the launch of the Supporting Recovery pilot program, aimed at providing trauma-informed recovery care for victim-survivors of family, domestic, and sexual violence (DFSV) in the NSW Central Coast and Moree regions.

PHN announces second round of Immunisation Scholarships to increase COVID-19 vaccination of vulnerable groups

The PHN is pleased to announce a second round of immunisation scholarships in 2024. The scholarships aim to upskill eligible nurses to increase the uptake of COVID-19 vaccinations among priority vulnerable populations. The immunisation scholarships support the Government’s COVID-19 response aiming to increase access to the COVID-19 vaccination among vulnerable populations who cannot access or have difficulty accessing the vaccine through existing processes.
