We are seeking a general practitioner to provide competent and compassionate primary care services to patients of our privately owned General Practice. We are a 12-doctor, 2-site practice

Each site has a dedicated well-equipped treatment room and full-time nursing support. Our nursing staff have been trained to provide health assessments, care plans, vaccinations and cervical screening.

The Taree waiting rooms & reception have been beautifully renovated with the assistance of an interior designer, creating a warm & pleasant environment for the patients or for those who work within.

We have close collaboration with the local private and public hospital, GP registrar training consortiums, the University of Newcastle and the Pain Management Research Institute. In 2023, after our GP Respiratory Clinic closed, we re-purposed the rooms for Allied Health. A physiotherapist, a psychologist and a podiatrist have commenced working with us to enhance multi-disciplinary care.

While we would prefer an experienced GP, we are happy to provide training and support to assist a non-VR doctor towards their Fellowship. All eight of our most recent past or present registrars or IMG candidates have passed the FRACGP (Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners) examinations. We have GP registrar supervisors available for 1-on-1 training or to offer support with individual cases. We have regular doctors breakfast meetings at a local café to discuss clinical problems, to discuss journal articles or for peer support.
