The new Maitland hospital is now open and Maitland Private hospital offers a broad range of services.

Our practice is looking for an enthusiastic doctor who is keen to settle in the area. The practice is a traditional family style practice and is looking for a successor to carry on caring for our local community.

Full time or part time, flexible hours Monday to Friday, established busy practice, recently renovated, fully computerised and full time nurse support, with opportunity for practice ownership in the longer term, and to expand personal interests such as minor surgery, women's health etc. Flexible career and lifestyle opportunities

Our practice was originally established over 100 years ago in Central Maitland and has a loyal, established patient base. For the last 35 years the practice has been prominently located next to the Belmore Bridge and the Maitland Courthouse. Accreditation with AGPAL was renewed in 2021.We are fully computerised and are able to offer Telehealth services to our patients. Our service offers cradle to grave care and includes minor surgery, immunisations, wound care and antenatal care. We have 2 registered nurses who provide full time cover and a friendly team of receptionists. There is a dental practice co-located in the building. We are able to see patients on an extensive verandah and in our carpark if required. We also visit several local nursing homes and there is the opportunity to participate in the GP Access after hours roster.
