General Practitioner
Are you a dedicated General Practitioner seeking an opportunity to make a difference in a vibrant rural community? Look no further – our busy rural practice in Moree is looking for a motivated GP to join our dynamic team.
We are a bustling rural practice providing general GP services to the community of Moree. Additionally, our doctors serve as Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) at Moree District Hospital on a rostered basis. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care to our patients and fostering a supportive work environment for our team.
Position Details:
- Permanent or time-specific contract available
- Overseas trained doctors welcome
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with occasional Saturday morning shifts
- Remuneration: Negotiable
Role Responsibilities:
- Provision of general GP services
- Optional VMO work at Moree District Hospital
- 2 year contract, or a more permanent arrangement
Supportive Environment:
- Dedicated team of 2 Registered Nurses and 1 Enrolled Nurse to assist doctors in patient care
- Monthly visits from Allied Health professionals, including podiatrists, hearing services, and psychology
- Visiting specialists in Cardiology, Orthopedics, and Rheumatology
- Accommodation and settling-in assistance available for relocating doctors
Relocation Grant:
A relocation and accommodation grant of up to $10,000 is available. An added incentive is $7500.00 after 2 weeks of billings and a further $7500.00 after 6 months of billings.
Supervision:
Level 2 IMG's encouraged to apply.
