Newcastle - Boutique, small and modern practice seeks VRGP (Whitebridge Medical Centre)

We are a small, progressive, private billing and GP owned practice located 5 minutes from a beautiful surf beach in the village of Whitebridge (15 minutes from Newcastle CBD). The clinic has been in operation for over 40 years with a loyal, local patient group. Our practice focuses on small practice quality care and we are constantly looking for new solutions to "Do Good GP Better”. We are always evaluating new software, new workflows and new ideas with the aim to make small general practice care better for both GP’s and patients.

Our software is set up with true clinician flexibility in mind. Want to do two days face to face and a couple of half days telehealth with chat available in between? Want to come back slowly from maternity or paternity leave? Whatever mix you can imagine we can make work. We want you to have all the tools you need to provide care to your patients which is flexible for BOTH of you. And what that really means is better longitudinal care for patients. It means the script requests for their long term medication always comes from you (via the asynchronous chat). The follow up video call to review how they are going on that Lexapro is done by you (from your holiday home down the coast where you work from on Fridays). And that lump in their breast that they are freaking about is examined by you on a Tuesday morning when you’re in the rooms.

All current patients are privately billed. Recent renovations to the clinic provide for spacious modern consulting rooms with plenty of natural light. Located in the sleepy seaside village of Whitebridge we have everything you need next door. Not one but two great coffee shops. A small supermarket for all the things you’ve run out of at home. A pharmacy over the road (with engaged young pharmacy owners who enjoy collaborative care). On site pathology collection (Laverty). Co-located physiotherapy. And more!
