Launch of the NSW Primary Health Care Cancer Framework

Cancer Institute NSW has developed the NSW Primary Health Care Cancer Framework to enhance engagement with the primary health care sector and cross-sector integration. The Framework informs and promotes collaboration between the Cancer Institute NSW, Primary Health Networks, the Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council and the broader primary health care sector, inclusive of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations, peak professional bodies, multicultural health and community agencies, and cancer services.

Changemakers Conference 2021 - community implementation of developmental disability practices

Changemakers 2021 will explore current research, clinical reasoning and provide an opportunity to share successful models of practice. Ideally suited for those passionate about therapy and support interventions for babies, children and young people with neuro-developmental conditions. It will feature keynote presentations from international and national experts, along with workshops from leading therapists, clinicians, researchers and those with lived experience of disability.

A new counselling service spearheaded by ACON, Australia’s largest sexuality and gender diverse health organisation, will give LGBTQ community members more options in accessing inclusive and culturally appropriate mental health care and support. Pride Counselling provides counselling support to LGBTQ community members seeking an affordable service.
