Monash University & the World Endometriosis Society will be hosting a hybrid symposium on Endometriosis and Adenomyosis. The event will be held on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 May 2022. Endometriosis and adenomyosis are closely related conditions that can be difficult to diagnose. Both are chronic conditions that can cause pelvic pain, affect fertility and impact on daily life, including reduced participation in school, work, and sporting activities. The event will have two streams (clinical and research) held simultaneously with four plenary presentations held across the two streams. We aim to improve awareness and education; improve clinical management and care; and build a collaborative environment for endometriosis research.
