Lunch and Learn: Meet your Domestic and Family Violence Local LINK - Hunter Valley & Port Stephens Region

Tuesday, February 14th 2023
12:30 PM - 1:00 PM

Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) is a serious public health issue, contributing more to the burden of disease for women aged 18 – 44 years than smoking, alcohol misuse and obesity. Studies show that women are twice as likely to disclose DFV if asked by their GP or nurse in the general practice.

Primary Care is not alone in supporting patients experiencing DFV. Your DFV Local LINK is Primary Care’s one stop referral and advice point for patients impacted by DFV.

Please join us for this Lunch and Learn session to meet your DFV Local LINK and explore:
• How your DFV Local LINK can support your patients
• How to LINK for support and what to expect from your DFV Local Link
• How to register your practice for free DFV training
