This webinar will be presented by Clara Fritchley (PhD candidate, The Matilda Centre for Research in Mental Health and Substance Use, Clinical Psychologist). Clara is a clinical psychologist with over twenty years of experience, in both forensic and clinical sectors of mental health care. She has recently completed a PhD examining therapeutic experiences of people involved in the justice system and has a strong interest in how the criminal justice system impacts emotional wellbeing. In particular, she specialises in work with adolescents and adults who have complex presentations, particularly those who have endured trauma and/or experienced systemic and structural barriers to good mental health. Clara is passionate about increasing understanding of the ways in which therapeutic spaces that prioritise the uniqueness of every individual’s experience can be created, and how these spaces then work to cultivate individual emotional flourishing.
