It also provides practical tools for health professionals managing the full spectrum of suicide risk presentations including the acute suicidal crisis, care after a suicide attempt and assisting families experiencing suicide bereavement.

This webinar will be led by Professors Christoph Wanner (Nephrologist) and Sophia Zoungas (Endocrinologist) both members of the 2020 KDIGO Guidelines for Diabetes in CKD Guidelines working group. The PHN is offering training to stregthen trauma informed knowledge and practice with a focus on applying this knowledge and understanding when working and engaging with Indigenous clients, community and colleagues.

The one day training, will be reinforced by a series of follow-on small group on-line sessions. These will build on the initial training content and provide the opportunity to explore practice experiences using a trauma informed lens/framework.

The one day workshops are offered on 23rd, 24th and 25th June.
