An experienced part time medical receptionist to join our privately owned general practice in Wickham

Qualifications & experience

  • Ability to provide friendly and efficient patient care and customer service.
  • Relevant training or previous experience in medical admin is preferable however training is provided.
  • Proven experience to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn the relevant software program
  • Exceptional phone manner and ability to handle all inquiries.
  • High attention to details and excellent organizational skills.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • First point of contact to patients, greeting patients upon arrival and ensuring all relevant paperwork has been processed for their appointment.
  • Management of booking appointments including online, over the phone and email bookings.
  • Management of clinical files, correspondence and accounts.
  • Ability to learn the Clinical Software for day-to-day use (BestPractice)
