We are looking for an enthusiastic flexible experienced practice Registered Nurse to join our team on a part time/casual basis at East Maitland Family Medical Centre and Skin cancer Clinic

-Perform clinical duties including triage, immunisations and other injections, wound management, chronic disease management and health assessment and assisting GP with procedures.

-Conduct preventative/screening procedures and coordinate patient recalls for GP management plans and health assessments.

-Maintain stocks of clinical supplies, including correct storage (such as refrigeration), removal and disposal of out-of-date stock and ordering supplies.

-Maintain the practice’s systems and processes for hand hygiene, environmental cleaning, spills management, and practice team immunisations in accordance with practice policy and procedure



Experience in General Practice is preferred but not essential.

The role will require care planning, health assessment, Chronic Disease Management, immunisations as well as assisting with procedures and general treatment room tasks.

Wound care/dressings, Child Immunisations

Current unrestricted Nurses Registration with AHPRA

Current CPR certification

Current Immunisation Certificate is Essential.

Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
