Registered Nurse - myCheck Health Medical & Skin Clinic
We are delighted to be looking for a Registered Nurse to join us at myCheck Health Medical & Skin clinic. We are a GP practice located in Woy Woy NSW operating 5 days a week. Our clinical team currently consists of 4 full-time general practitioners and a registered nurse.
Position: Full-time, Permanent Part-Time or Casual
Rate: Paid per the Nurses Award dependent on level of experience.
Experience: Experience in GP is preferable, but on job training will be provided for the right candidate.
Essential Criteria:
- Must have a current unconditional registration with APHRA
- Current immunisations certificate (or willing to complete training)
- Current CPR certificate
- Current working with children’s check (WWC)
- Minimum 1 years’ experience as a registered nurse
- Demonstrate outstanding work ethic, organizational and time management skills.
- Have experience in a fast-paced multiple practitioner environment.
- The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Covid-19 Vaccination status up to date
Responsibilities:
- Patient liaison and answering phones when required.
- Triage of patients.
- Chronic disease management plans and health assessments.
- Operation of the recall and reminder system.
- Stock control and ordering.
- Cold chain management.
- Testing procedures – ECG, Spirometry and ABI.
- Wound management.
- Immunisations including childhood.
- Assisting with minor procedures.
- Maintenance of practice equipment.
- Infection Control and surgical equipment sterilization
- Collaborate with the medical team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Offer health education and support to patients and their families.
- Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up care.
- Support to general practitioners and other staff as required.
