The PHN is inviting local community members, businesses, organisations and entrepreneurs to come and join us for an evening of impact and storytelling featuring suicide prevention programs.
The live events ask audience members to hear short, sharp pitch presentations, and then pitch funding (funds provided by the PHN, with no additional monies being sought from audience members) towards the program they feel best addresses the community’s needs.
How do Pitch Nights Work?
1. The PHN has selected four suicide prevention programs from across the Hunter, New England and Central Coast Regions to showcase
2. Pitch night attendees are provided with a cheque from the PHN
3. Pitch night attendees hear pitch presentations from each of the four, suicide prevention programs
4. Pitch night attendees decide which program most closely meets the community’s needs and allocate their funds
5. Each program receives the funds from the PHN as pitched by the attendees
