Following a successful pilot, the Care Navigation program will continue to provide support to the Ezidi community, resettled in Armidale, for an additional 12 months.
The HNECC PHN hosted its inaugural Allied Health conference on Tuesday the 24th May, 2022. The #WeCareTogether conference was a great success with 200 participants coming together across three locations in Newcastle, Central Coast and Tamworth as well as online.
The PHN has just launched its Core Needs Assessment 2022 - 2025 drawing attention to key health needs and service gaps across the region.
Over the last few years communities across the Hunter New England and Central Coast region have experienced challenging times as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the impacts from natural disasters such as major flood events.
As a result of COVID-19 control measures, flu cases remained at historically low levels in 2021. With the easing of these public health measures there is likely to be a resurgence of flu this winter, potentially co-circulating with COVID-19.
