The Department of Social Services (DSS) has developed a way to improve access to this information by creating the Disability Gateway. The Disability Gateway includes a website, a dedicated phone line (1800 643 787) and social media channels, to assist people with disability, their families and carers, to find and access trusted information and services. It is for all Australians with disability, regardless of whether they are a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participant or not.

The stress of experiencing something such as a bushfire can leave people at a higher risk of developing depression or anxiety, even if they are not directly dealing with loss of property and/or possessions.
National Pain Week 2023 is Australia’s annual awareness event for chronic pain. The “she’ll be right” attitude is often adopted when addressing individuals chronic pain, leading to worsened, long-term impacts for both themselves, their family, friends, and colleagues.
The Holidays are here, and we are once again seeing an uptick in cases of COVID-19. Whilst rules and regulations regarding COVID-19 have relaxed it is still important to observe basic COVID-19 safety measures to help stop the spread and keep our families, friends and colleagues safe.
