Funded by NSW Health, Doing It Tough was created by Suicide Prevention Australia in partnership with Australian Men’s Health Forum in consultation with people who have lived experience of suicide and mental health.
More than 5,000 individuals across the Hunter, New England and Central Coast regions have received federally funded mental health treatment through programs designed and commissioned by the Primary Health Network (the PHN).
A vital service for young people has been officially opened today with Assistant Minister for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, the Hon Emma McBride MP, cutting the ribbon at headspace Wyong.
The Hunter New England Central Coast Primary Health Network (PHN) has announced the launch of a care navigation service with the objective of reducing mental health disorders and suicide among veterans and their families due to the timely receipt of appropriate healthcare. The service also aims to improve the health literacy of clients.
