PHN commissions new phone service to provide psychosocial support services

A person’s safety, connectedness, physical and mental health situation can impact how well they cope in undertaking everyday activities. These different factors make up a person’s psychosocial needs, which can vary from one point in time to another and from person to person.

The Mind Health Service Connect Line is for anyone whose health and lifestyle circumstances have changed and need support to undertake everyday activities. It can help individuals, carers and health professionals to navigate the health and care system to find the most appropriate supports and services. Qualified counsellors can connect callers to a range of mental, physical, and social related services.

To access this service please call 1300 029 131 or visit  Mind Health Service Connect Line
