Research Opportunity: Understanding Health Consumers' Needs during Climate Events

Macquarie University researchers are conducting research to design a climate-ready health system and prepare communities to stay safe and healthy when climate crises strike.

They are seeking volunteers to take part in an interview about their experience of managing a health condition during natural disasters and aim to understand the health challenges they faced and the solutions they found.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you are aged 18+ and have lived experience managing a health condition (as a patient or carer) during climate-related disasters such as bushfires, floods or storms.

We will use this information to design new ways the health system can support the long-term needs of communities in the face of environmental shifts.

All participants will receive a $100 eGift Card as a thank-you.

For more information view the Participant Information Sheet or the Project Flyer.

For more details about the study contact Dr Hania Rahimi-Ardabili by email at hania.rahimiardabili@mq.edu.au or phone (02) 9850 9419.
