#StrongerTogether 2024 PHN Allied Health Conference

Registrations are now open for the #Stronger Together 2024 Allied Health Conference to be held in the picturesque Hunter Valley, at the Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort, on Thursday 9 May.

The PHN’s second Allied Health Conference will embrace the themes of Collaboration and Connection in offering Allied Health professionals, practice staff, Allied Health students and other clinicians a unique opportunity to foster links with others within the region’s Allied Health community and the PHN.

The conference topics will be relevant to both health professionals and students looking to enter the allied health space. Presentation themes include:

  • Embracing the digital revolution
  • Workforce for the future
  • Innovation that makes a difference
  • Building multidisciplinary teams
  • Equity of access to primary health care services

Conference organisers have confirmed that ABC radio presenter, Anna Moulder, will fill the role of Master of Ceremonies at this year's conference. Anna's diverse and richly informed background, and connections across multiple sectors, will bring a fresh perspective to the conference proceedings.

The conference will also be livestreamed, as in 2022, for those unable to attend in person.

Following the conference, a face-to-face Business Accelerator Workshop will be held Friday, 10th May 9.00am -12.00pm. Facilitated by Momentum Business Improvement, this intensive session has been designed specifically for allied health business owners. An additional fee of $50.00 applies for those who wish to attend the workshop.

The success of the 2022 conference was due to allied health professionals sharing their stories and insights.

Please consider sharing yours in 2024 by submitting an expression of interest to present by Monday 5th February here.
