Culture and Dementia Workshop

There are more than 447,000 people living with dementia in Australia and many of them are from multicultural backgrounds. This session will enable you to understand how people from diverse cultures perceive Dementia and give you information and resources to help provide support and care for people with different cultural needs living with Dementia. 

The culture and Dementia training session is for anyone who has an interest is delivering health or care services to people from a CALD background that are living with dementia.

Lymphoedema Health Professionals Breakfast

Lymphoedema is a chronic and permanent swelling of one or more body parts. It is caused by problems with the lymphatic system, which results in the accumulation of excess fluid. Lymphoedema can have multiple causes; it can be genetic or can occur after surgery, trauma or together with lipoedema. It affects people physically, emotionally and psychologically.

Back Pain Management – Pain Medicine, Sports Medicine and Neurosurgery

The Northern Beaches Hospital and Healthscope present a free CPD webinar for general practitioners and other primary care clinicians.

Back Pain Management – Pain Medicine, Sports Medicine and Neurosurgery provides 1.5 CPD hours with the 2023 RACGP CPD Program.

In this CPD activity, GPs will learn from leading experts as they assess multiple aetiologies of pain from the lower back to the knee and consider the conservative and minimally invasive management options for a common presenting complaint.

"Periods shouldn't ruin your life" as part of the GP Paediatric Health Education Program

In collaboration with The University of Melbourne, RCH and MCRI the RCH Education Hub is excited to bring you this multifaceted Education Program designed specifically for General Practitioners. The Paediatric Health education Program for General Practitioners includes: Monthly interactive webinars, recordings available, online chat forum, resources and feedback to support your practice in child and adolescent health and development. The first webinar for the year is titled "Periods shouldn't ruin your life" and is provided by Professor Sonia Grover Gynaecologist, Pain Medical Specialist and Chief Investigator of LongSTEPPP of RCH Melbourne.
