Medications and Diabetes – what’s new?

Join the Australian Diabetes Educators Association for a free webinar with Dr Gary Deed, Chair of the RACGP Specific Interests Diabetes network and Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at Monash University. Dr Deed will discuss the role of medications in managing type 2 diabetes.

He will explore the evidence for matching client phenotypes to choices of therapies in diabetes and how to develop an individualised management plan for differing patient presentations. He will also discuss how to safely manage risk associated with medication choices in diabetes.

Short Mental Health Interventions: Tips for Talking to Teens

NSW & ACT Hepatitis B s100 Prescriber Course

This course provides Medical Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners with comprehensive training in the science of hepatitis B (HBV), current pharmacology, monitoring and treatment, and the complicating factors surrounding HBV management. Upon successful completion of this training and the associated case assessment, eligible participants may apply to the relevant state departments of health for authority to prescribe Section 100 (s100) drugs for the management of HBV in Australia.
