Practical Paediatrics for the General Practitioner Weekend 2024

Hosted by The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN), the program will cover a wide range of topics to update knowledge and skills in paediatrics. The focus is to highlight current advances in research and practice and to cover changes in the management of paediatric problems. This year, we’re committed to bringing a hybrid experience to our paediatric healthcare community. What’s new in 2024? • Wide coverage of paediatric topics delivered in-person at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, focusing on the latest updates on important paediatric problems. • 8 interactive face-to-face workshops to provide practical and actionable education that can be readily implemented in your daily practice. • 4 paediatric case discussions led by senior specialists highlighting assessment and management of children with common and not so common presentations. • Adolescent Medicine Quiz facilitated by Dr Anthony Zehetner. • 3-month access to recordings available to registered attendees (subject to presenter consent). • Streaming option available - to offer flexibility for our remote attendees who wish to tune in for main stage presentations. Join us for an educational weekend of learning and walk away with practical insights to incorporate in your daily practice of treating children and young people.
