ASSESSMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF LOWER LIMB PAIN - BRISBANE

A learning module for doctors wanting to boost their skills and confidence in managing lower limb pain. It is the fourth of four modules being offered by the Australian Association of Musculoskeletal Medicine. The modules can be taken independently and in any order, but all four modules must be successfully completed to be awarded the certificate.

Inaugural Rural GP VMO Medical Conference

NSW Rural Doctors Network (RDN) would like to invite you to attend the Inaugural Rural GP VMO Medical Conference which will be held from Friday 1 - Saturday 2 July at The Quarry Restaurant in Cowra.

This conference is a two day education event aimed at addressing the specific educational needs of GP VMOs working in rural hospitals and general practice.

Topics covered are specific to those that need higher level monitoring or management in rural and district hospitals by GP VMOs, with information and advice coming from the specialists regularly referred to.

16th National National Rural Health Conference

For people of the rural and remote health sector, the Conference aims to:

inspire and inform;

showcase developments on the ground;

help build interdisciplinary health teamwork – including between Australia and other countries;

engage health consumers with others in the sector;

provide an opportunity for research reports to be delivered by both experienced and early-career researchers;

anticipate developments and issues and help set the sector’s agenda;

promote a stronger awareness of rural and remote health issues in the wider community and among policy makers.

Navigating Diagnostic and Treatment Challenges: Is it Borderline Personality Disorder or Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder?

In-Person or Online, Clinicians can face complex diagnostic and treatment challenges when people present with features of both borderline personality disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). A degree of clarity has been achieved since Complex PTSD was formally included in ICD-11 but diagnostic difficulties and treatment challenges persist.Over the course of this conference, experts from the fields of BPD and complex trauma - separated for too long - will guide clinicians towards diagnostic clarity while informing treatment and research directions.
