With Heart week starting on Monday May 3 the PHN’s rural Clinical Council is urging all health professionals and community members to start a conversation about heart health and discuss the steps we all need to take to reduce our risk of developing heart disease.
Vaccination against influenza (flu) remains important this year. Free flu vaccines under the National Immunisation Program will become available in April 2021. Vaccinating in autumn provides protection before the peak influenza season.

The Primary Health Network has received Bushfire Recovery Community Wellbeing funding from the Federal government for the provision of non-clinical, evidence based mental health wellbeing activities.
The Smiling Mind organisation has developed an app-based mindfulness program designed to provide busy healthcare workers with easily accessible information, resources and practical activities designed to support good mental health and wellbeing.
