9th Rural and Remote Health Scientific Symposium

HIV Treatment Access Update

This online session will update on Australia’s new government-funded model that provides free or affordable HIV treatment access for people without Medicare. The session will feature clinical, government, and community presenters and will focus on the new scheme in NSW, including guidelines, referral pathways, and the experiences of HIV treatment access for people without Medicare. For healthcare workers caring for people with HIV it is important to understand how treatment can be accessed in NSW and to be able to provide up-to-date advice and information to your patients.
