In response to the shortage of rurally based General Practitioners (GPs) The PHN is pleased to offer general practice recruitment incentive grants for general practitioner recruitment into a number of LGAs in the Upper Hunter and New England regions.
This webinar aims to improve support provided in primary care settings for people with a psychosocial disability to apply for NDIS.There will be a GP-focus but other health professionals are also welcome to attend.
Learning Outcomes:
• Use consultation time to support a patient with a psychosocial disability to apply for NDIS
• Identify and support hard to reach people to apply for NDIS
• Understand how to navigate HealthPathways to support a patient to access NDIS or relevant supports
