Join us to learn about the new National Immunisation Program (NIP) shingles vaccine Shingrix®, which from 1 November 2023 will replace Zostavax® for eligible people most at risk of complications from shingles (herpes zoster).
Dr Elly Warren, Medical co-Director of CCLHD’s Central Coast Health@Home, will give an overview of the service and explain how your clinicians can help facilitate hospital avoidance for people with suitable acute conditions. The highly skilled multidisciplinary team (Senior Medical Officers (GPs), Nurses, Allied Health and Pharmacist) provides hospital-level care at home. The service is free and funded via NSW Health.
