PHN launches Core Needs Assessment identifying region's health needs
The PHN has just launched its Core Needs Assessment 2022 - 2025 drawing attention to key health needs and service gaps across the region.

Over the last few years communities across the Hunter New England and Central Coast region have experienced challenging times as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the impacts from natural disasters such as major flood events.
The PHN's Health-e Together Digital Care grants offer an opportunity for General Practice, Aboriginal Medical Services and Allied Health practioners to upgrade or implement digital health foundational services and supports. There is also a dedicated grant stream for improving telehealth services into Residential Aged Care facilities.
In response to the shortage of rurally based General Practitioners (GPs) The PHN is pleased to offer general practice recruitment incentive grants for general practitioner recruitment into a number of LGAs in the Upper Hunter and New England regions.

In response to the shortage of rurally based General Practitioners, the Primary Health Network is offering incentive grants to practices to support them in their recruitment activities.
Following the success of last year’s inaugural Primary Care Quality and Innovation Awards, we are excited to announce that the Awards are returning on Friday the 24th of June, 2022.
