General Practice Workforce Incentives and Support
The Australian Government funds a number of programs to provide incentives to encourage doctors to move to, and remain working in, regional, rural and remote Australia.
Workforce Planning and Prioritisation Project (WPPP)
The national General Practice Workforce Planning and Prioritisation Program (WPPP) will provide independent, evidence-based advice, to inform the geographic distribution and placement of GP registrars to meet the community’s current and future GP workforce needs.
