Inverell Lifestyle

Funki Monki specialty produce store

Inverell is a charming and elegant rural service centre located on a bend in the Macintyre River in a mixed farming district known for its wheat, grapes olives, maize, barley and oats. Since the 1870s the area has been also known for its tin, sapphires, zircons and diamonds.

Now home to around 12,000 people Inverell is an elegant town of lakes, parklands and pristine streets and with its strong farming and sporting community, families of all ages benefit from the area’s abundance of opportunity and casual pace of life.

Inverell has a great range of dining options, all experienced in a variety of wonderful environments – from CBD footpath caffeine hits or a lazy brunch in the sun, to special occasions with tranquil riverside views or an a la carte menu featuring outstanding local produce. Conveniently, the town has two service stations/convenience stores open 24hrs, in addition to a 24hr fast food restaurant and two gyms open around-the-clock.
