Welcome to Moree

Moree is one of the most unique, thriving towns in Regional NSW and has a lot to offer. On the behalf of the community and Council, I welcome those who have recently relocated, and I encourage those considering the move to our vibrant town to do so. We are a warm, open and caring community and our home will quickly feel like your own.

There is a little bit of something for everyone in Moree. Whether it’s art, culture, adventure, entertainment, great food or just to relax, you’ll experience it here on the famous black soil plains. There is so much to explore, and our Shire’s villages are just bursting with personality. Take advantage, jump in and get wrapped up in our community.

I’ll finish by saying thank you to those who have chosen Moree as their new home and anyone else who is thinking about taking the plunge to go for it. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed by your time spent here.
